05.15.2008 Weddings, Portraits and Clients

Several months ago I had the pleasure of shooting some headshots for my good friend and fellow photographer Melissa Koehler. Recently she’s been undergoing the process of re-branding herself and her business with a new, fun and fresh style. To add to all of her recent success and new business branding, Melissa asked me to once again shoot a few new headshots of her that would reflect her new look, attitude and brand.

She’s always been a very sweet and talented person, but this time around I wanted her images to better represent this new fresh style. I’m always honored when a fellow photographer asks me to photograph them. Thankfully, Melissa makes it very easy by being super relaxed, and very easy to hang with.

True to my style, I shot almost 2,300 images in just over 2 hours. Here are just a couple of shots from our afternoon:

She’ll hate me for posting this shot, but it’s just too FIERCE!

A very sweet shot during the last 10 minutes of that awesome late late sunlight:

And something a little fun and funky to round it out:

Thanks for asking me again Missi! Congrats on all of your success!
