This past Sunday I joined Erin and Dave in Point Loma at the US Naval Submarine Base at the Oceanview Room for their beautiful summer nuptials. These two are a wonderful pair, and treated my like a part of their family. Here are a few of my favorite shots from their day:
It’s always nice to start off with a beautiful dress detail:

Shoes!

The boquet:

I love the single strand of pearls. Simple and elegant!

The groom was rockin’ his custom cufflinks:

And speaking of the groom:

And his beautiful bride, Erin:

Wed did a “reveal” of the bride to the groom so we could shoot a few shots of the couple before the ceremony. Here’s Dave waiting for me to give him permission to turn around:

I love the next two shots of his reaction, and the embrace, kiss and tears:

A nice moment with Dad pulling the veil over the bride just before walking down the ceremony:

An emotional walk down the aisle:

The flower girl was having fun doing her own thing during the ceremony at the foot of the bridesmaids:

Mazel Tov!

A few shots of the happy couple:

First dance:

The father of the bride gave an emotional and beautiful speech:

The mother of the bride had to intervene during the removal of the garter!

The final dance of the night:

Congratulations you guys! Thanks for welcoming me into your family on your special day!
I also want to send a shout out to my buddy Simeon Rodgers for shooting along side me all day. Check out his blog for some images in the near future.

Earlier this week I met up with the Nicholas’, and their beautiful one month old little girl, Hayden. We shot a few fun portraits hanging out in their home, and then cruised over to the local park for a couple of quick portraits. Here are a few of my favorite shots from our morning together.
So beautiful with all that hair!

Mom bought a few special headbands just for the shoot!

Well, hello there!

A nice shot with Dad:

… and a smile with Mom:

I love this little moment with the whole family:

Just hangin’ out:

A nice family portrait down at the park:

And, of course, a baby shoot wouldn’t be complete without a shot of the feet:

Thanks for inviting me into your home, guys. I had a blast spending a couple of hours with you and your beautiful girl!

This past Friday I had the pleasure of spending the day at the Darlington House with Jenny and Jeff to document their gorgeous wedding. These two kids are fantastic together, and it really showed the entire day. Her are a few of my favorite images from their big day…
A few details:

The stunning bride!

The groom cleans up alright as well! With these solo portraits, it’s really all about finding quality light, and not really about the location. I dragged him into a parking lot next to a food van to for this shot.

Nice cufflinks!

The men of the day:

The father of the bride way beaming as he walked his girl down the aisle.

Married!

The first dance:

It was great to see Liz and Shravan, whose wedding I photographed in Brooklyn last year. They were responsible for the referral for this wedding. (And a couple of others) They are both awesome people! Thanks guys!

The big send off!

Special thanks to my man Dexter Lo for coming out and shooting along side me for the day! Check out his blog to see some more images in the near future! I’d also like to send a shout-out to Sharon Cole for doing a fantastic job with the coordinating!
Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your day, guys! Have a blast on your honeymoon!
