The New Portrait Mini-Session Date is… May 1st! • 03.30.2010 •

My first mini-session portrait shoot a couple weeks ago was such a success, that I’ve decided to do it again. I received a few inquiries about when I would be scheduling the next date, and the new date is Saturday, May 1st! This mini-session shoot will work exactly the same as the last one. For those of you who didn’t see my original post, here again are the details:

For a session fee of only $100, you will receive a 30 min session, as well as an on-line proofing gallery, a disc of all the hi-res proof images on DVD, as well as a gallery print credit. That’s easily the best portrait deal out there right now!

This batch of session will again take place in Balboa Park. It offers a variety of backdrops and fun areas in which to shoot without having to walk very far. If you haven’t seen the images from the first session, scroll down and check out the post directly underneath this one.I will be accepting only 6 spots again for this date, so if you want a spot, be sure to SEND ME AN EMAIL soon. Some spots have already been reserved.

Here is the break down of the shooting slots, and I will again update it as they fill up:

Saturday May 1st - 3:00pm - BOOKED
Saturday May 1st - 3:30pm -
Saturday May 1st - 4:00pm -
BREAK
Saturday May 1st - 5:00pm - BOOKED
Saturday May 1st - 5:30pm -

Again, please contact me soon if you’d like a spot, as I’m sure they’ll book fast! Thanks again to all of those who came out to my first shoot and made it such a success!

Crew photo - Ft. Gordon - Augusta, GA • 12.10.2009 •

On the eve of my flight back to San Diego after a two week shoot out here at Ft. Gordon, I thought I would post a shot the fantastic crew I get to work with while I’m out here. This trip was all about shooting communication specialties, so that’s why I chose the satellite dish as the background. I’m the thug in the middle wearing the hoodie. Home tomorrow!

2009 Holiday Portraits! • 09.22.2009 •

It’s only September, but it’s certainly time to start thinking about, planning, and booking dates for this year’s holiday portrait sessions and holiday cards! Once again this year I’ve put together a simple and affordable holiday package, as well as instituted an awesome discount in all of my 2009 client galleries. Here are the details regarding this year’s info, starting with the awesome flat gallery discount.

*** 20% off all print orders through the end of the year! ***

I have reactivated most of the image galleries from this past year, and they now all have a 20% discount for all orders. This discount will be available through the end of the year. Please be aware that if you’d like to receive your orders in time for Christmas, you MUST submit them by December 1st! I will do my best to get them all shipped in time for the holidays, but cannot guarantee any orders after December 1st. To browse through a particular gallery, simply CLICK HERE to access the main client page!

If you have any questions, or need to be reminded of a particular password, please feel free to contact me at anytime by SENDING ME AN EMAIL, or giving me a call at 619.244.7627

*** Holiday Portrait Sessions! ***

This year I’m offering another awesome, all-inclusive holiday portrait package containing everything you’ll need for your family portraits and holiday cards. For $350, here’s what you’ll get:

– a 1 hour location portrait session here in San Diego
– a password protected on-line gallery containing of all your images
– a disc of all the out-of-camera hi-res images
– 25 - 4 X 5.5 folded linen holiday greeting cards with envelopes (utilizing your favorite image from our session. Additional sets of 25 cards are available)
– a digital retouched hi-res file of the image used in your holiday cards

All sessions must be booked by November 1st, and must be scheduled to take place by Sunday, November 28th. If you have any questions, or would like to book a session, please SEND ME AN EMAIL, or giving me a call at 619.244.7627

If you’d like to use an image from a wedding, event, or portrait session from earlier this year, you can order holiday cards using those images directly through your gallery.

Please don’t wait too long to contact me about scheduling a date for your session. I already have several dates booked, and the closer we get to the holiday season, the more difficult it is to squeeze everything into everyone’s schedule!

And as I’ve done for the past couple of years, I MUST post MY holiday card with Jen and I from 2007. We received an incredible amount of awesome feedback form this goofy shot that it’s worth posting again. We’re planning something extra-awesomely-goofy again this year that will include our beautiful new baby girl, Elliott. Until then, lets reminisce back to ‘07….

I look forward to working with you all again this year!

This unflattering self portrait was taken earlier this week while I was shooting inside of a mock terrorist shelter… hence the eerie beams of light shining through the windows. Don’t pretend like you’re not impressed with the beauty bestowed upon you!
